Kevin Le Doux
Kevin Le Doux is a respected soccer coach, former player, and mentor with decades of experience shaping the future of the game. Born in Georgetown, Guyana, his passion for soccer began at an early age, driving him to develop his skills both on and off the field. After migrating to the United States, he continued his journey in soccer, committing himself to training and mentoring players at all levels.
His deep understanding of the game led him to represent Guyana in the Caribbean Cup Soccer Tournament, and later, co-found of the Guyanese North American Soccer Association (GNASA). Through this initiative, he played a pivotal role in nurturing young talent and strengthening the Guyanese football network. Le Doux also had the honor of conducting coaching clinics alongside global football legend George Weah, further refining his approach to coaching and tactical development.
Holding licensure with the United States Soccer Federation and certifications with La Liga Formation Methodology, Kevin Le Doux has continually expanded his expertise to remain at the forefront of soccer education. In 2020, he became one of only two Guyanese among the first eighteen coaches in the United States to complete US Club Soccer’s inaugural La Liga Formation Methodology certification conferred in Madrid, Spain. This milestone not only honed his coaching skills but also offered him the unique opportunity to meet soccer luminaries such as Unai Emery, then-manager of Paris Saint-Germain, and the legendary Raúl González. Their insights, generously shared during the course, have profoundly influenced Kevin’s coaching philosophy and approach.
Kevin’s active roles in elite training environments—including The Guyanese National Team Youth Identification Camp, New York Hota Bavarian Soccer Club, Rosedale Soccer Club, Attacking Soccer Academy, Sean’s United Soccer Academy (SUSA), Et Al—highlight his commitment to youth development and club management. Through these programs, he has helped shape disciplined, well-rounded players who excel in both technical skill and character. The mentorship and guidance of esteemed coaches like Desmond Morgan and Nick Zlatar have further refined Kevin’s abilities, enabling him to inspire and uplift athletes to reach new levels of achievement.
Beyond his technical expertise, Kevin believes in soccer as a tool for personal and community development. His work with young athletes, local tournaments, and outreach programs underscores his unwavering dedication to making the sport accessible and impactful.
